Ok, so here we are. Here, I will share with you my 2022 “protocol” which has led me to finally overcome PE at the end of 2022. But before we continue, I have to say that I’m not any kind of medical expert. Everything I share with you is just pure personal experience, which may help you the same way it helped me.
On my opinion, the key change occurred when I started focusing on the possibility that the origin of PE may lie in my mind, and I believe I was not wrong.
In early 2022, I began delving deeper into this topic and ultimately decided to visit a hypnotherapist for the first time. It was also the first time I had ever spoken to someone about my situation, other than my girlfriend. It wasn’t easy, but I told myself that they were just a stranger, and I thought, “Who cares? What do I have to lose?”
During my visit to the hypnotherapist, one of the key things I learned was the difference between the subconscious and conscious mind. This understanding helped me gain insight into why I am the way I am, particularly in terms of my character and behaviors. It allowed me to see how the subconscious mind influences our thoughts, emotions, and actions, often without us being aware of it. This realization provided me with many answers and a deeper understanding of myself.
And here comes the most important thing to realize: old habits that are “written” in our subconscious mind are almost impossible to change if you don’t start to address your subconscious with conscious effort to change them. And as you probably guessed it, PE is one of such behavioral patterns, written in my subconscious, probably from early teenage masturbation times.
So the next step is to figure out how to change it!
The hypnotherapist has taught me about the power of affirmations. Affirmations are basically positive sentences that you consciously say to yourself with the goal of changing your subconscious mind. It’s like talking to yourself. For example, an affirmation for PE could be: “I am confident in bed!”, “I have control over my orgasm”, “I can last as long as I want”. Talking to yourself should become a habit for you for a couple of months, spending 30 minutes each day – 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes during the day, and 10 minutes in the evening.
Some general rules of affirmations:
1. Use only positive words, avoiding negatives. For example, instead of saying “I’m not afraid!”, say “I’m brave!”.
2. Express affirmations in the present tense. For example, instead of saying “I will feel good !”, say “I feel good!”.
3. Keep affirmations short and personal. Choose expressions that resonate with you.
4. Speak affirmations in a monotonous and low voice, emphasizing only the important words. By verbalizing affirmations, you ensure that the suggestions are received by your unconscious mind and start working immediately.
And honestly… , this is much more difficult than it sounds in the beginning. It’s really hard to establish such a routine of “talking to yourself”. Going into hypnosis with a therapist is the easiest way because you are guided and they put affirmations “in you” when you are hypnotized. But as she said to me, it’s not enough. It must be regular, and you need to want the change and establish the routine. So, you can regularly use the therapist, but this, as you can imagine, can cost a lot of money 😕.
Now let’s look at how I have tackled this new challenge.
Honestly, not very good… I was just not able to establish the routine (the subconscious is very strong and fights back when you want to change it). Some days I did it, and some days not. Sometimes just once a day, etc. And this was like that for a couple of months. I was not regular, but I kind of didn’t entirely quit doing it, probably because I’m stubborn by character. So then in the second half of 2022, I was searching on YouTube if some hypnotherapist maybe has some guided PE session, and I found it (I will leave the link below). And this was something that helped me start doing it regularly… headphones before sleep and in the morning and some “talking to myself” during the day.
In the meantime, I have also tried some other things, all of which, except one supplement, were basically related to my latest discovery that the cause of PE lies in my mind. Yes, I was totally into it and googled almost everything that can be found in this field. 🙂
So, I have started listening to some ASMR guided meditation sessions on YouTube to help relax my body and mind. This is because I am a Choleric type by character, and the therapist told me earlier this year that PE (premature ejaculation) is common among such types of people, especially if you are rushing through life tasks. You see, rushing and PE sounds correlated, right?
The next thing I have came across is a compound called Psilocybin. It is a hallucinogenic chemical found in certain mushrooms known as magic mushrooms. Eating mushrooms that contain psilocybin can have a variety of effects, ranging from euphoria to hallucinations. However, some experts have reported that they have seen amazing results in treating human depression and anxiety with microdosing of this compound called Psilocybin. What that means is that you actually take a dose that is 10 times smaller than one that can give you the above-mentioned side effects. So that was the key reason why I even considered trying it because since then I have been avoiding everything related to hallucinations and similar effects 🙂.
I don’t want to make this too long, so I suggest that you read about this topic on your own. There is plenty of literature available on Internet, just put Psilocybin in your browser. I don’t know how much this has contributed to overcoming my PE, but I certainly felt calmer, and it was easier to do tasks like “talking to myself.” I must say that I still use microdosing from time to time.
One important note, please check with your country’s authorities to see if this is legal in your country. I don’t want to put you in any trouble 🙂!
Also in the meantime, I have started to test a new supplement to me, called Tongkat Ali. In my opinion, I believe it doesn’t have much to do with PE. Maybe, but I certainly noticed some improvement down there regarding libido, hardness of the erection, and ejaculation volume. This has quite surprised me because there were not many things on the market that I hadn’t already tested in this field. Leave Viagra, Cialis, and Kamagra on the side. I’m talking about natural products.
And the last thing that I was starting to focus on was tension in certain muscles. This is hard to explain, so I will try to be as simple as possible, like everything until now. You all know that before-mentioned “volcano eruption” sensation which is built in our penis glans, yes, that unstoppable force 🙂. I have to mention that the best way to practice this is when you are alone, so when you masturbate practically.
The first thing you try to do is to be calm. The second is, when you are approaching orgasm and getting this unstoppable force feeling, try to focus and recognize all the muscles that you are squeezing without even knowing it. Let me help you, focus on your PC muscle and all the tension around your abdomen and also your leg muscles, they are all in tension.
And now the heaviest part, try intentionally relaxing those muscles and kind of “isolating” the penis from all that tension building around it. I personally have done this by breathing in and focusing on the relaxation of those muscles when exhaling, and at the same time, imagining how those muscles are shutting down and getting rid of tension. I also recommend that you don’t finish it with ejaculation, try to reach the point where you feel that you are not so aroused anymore and finish there.
Very IMPORTANT, maybe I should have written that in the beginning…, i do not recommend masturbating and watching Pornography too often, especially I would recommend to stop watching Pornography at all, or at least reduce it to a minimum, or watch something which is not so intense on arousal, pictures for example… 🙂. I remember when I was younger, already a PE sufferer, when watching Pornography I was aroused immediately like probably all of you, and because I was not able to masturbate the whole Porno scene, I was skipping to the end, to the most exciting part, the ejaculation of course. And lately I found out that this is nothing else but just feeding and programming myself in the subconscious to come quickly.
Guys, this is not an easy task in front of you, I know, but again, just don’t quit!
It will take time to manage it, but combined with all the approaches above, it will also become easier. And just one random day, like it happened with myself, you will not shoot in the first minute, but you’ll be surprised by what is going on here, saying to yourself, “Well, that’s something new and I definitely like it,” and you will just continue to thrust with a totally new dimension of feelings down there and plenty of enthusiasm 😉.
I would very much like to point with my finger at one single point and say that one is the solution, but as I mentioned before, I was always trying to solve my condition and trying multiple options… and in this case, something from this “cocktail” of approaches has led me to finally live without PE. And I wish the same for all of you, because I know all too well what kind of situation you are in.
